One person has been sent to hospital with serious injuries following a highway collision near Yorkton on Tuesday. Yorkton RCMP received a report of a two-vehicle collision near Willowbrook at the intersection of Highway 47 and Highway 52 around 11:10 a.m., according to a release from Sask. RCMP. Investigation found that a van and a pick-up truck collided. The driver of the pick-up truck was taken to hospital with serious injuries, RCMP said, noting the passenger and occupants of the truck and occupants of the van did not report any injures. Yorkton RCMP and a collision reconstructionist are investigating the collision, the release said, and the intersection may remain closed into the early evening. Willowbrook, Sask. is located around 24 kilometres west of Yorkton.
