A 53-year-old man from Balgonie is facing charges following an investigation by the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit. On March 12, the ICE unit executed a search warrant at a home in Balgonie, where electronic devices were examined and seized, Saskatoon police said in a news release Monday As a result, Kevin James Leibel was charged with possessing and making child sexual abuse and exploitation material. Police say Leibel was remanded until his next court appearance March 18 in Regina Provincial Court. The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of investigators from the RCMP, Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service and Prince Albert Police Service.
